Prayer for the Benefactors of Ascension of the Lord Romanian Orthodox Church, Bay Area, California

God of love, we owe You our thanks for the sweet feeling of love and protection we enjoy. O, Source of all goodness, pour Your blessings and kindness upon the benefactors of our church. Protect them from all the dangers that plague the mortal life on earth. May a shining sun always rise upon them to dispel the clouds of worries and suffering from their lives. Fill their hearts with the joy of Your salvation, guide their steps on the right paths for salvation and happiness. Do not let oppressive sufferings cloud their brows or embitter their hearts.

May each of their days be a beautiful spring day, and their lives like a clear and calm river flowing through green gardens full of flowers. If they are threatened by misfortune, be their defender and protector, as they are the defenders of Your church. Wherever they go or may be, shelter them with Your goodness and protection. My God, give them all the pleasures and joys allowed to mortals who keep Your commandments and do good to their neighbors. May Your good angel accompany and protect them in all their days, and after a long life full of blessings and good deeds, may they be worthy to attain Your endless blessings, prepared for all who work virtue.

Rugaciune pentru binefacatorii Bisericii Ortodoxe Romane Inaltarea Domnului, Bay Area,California

Dumnezeule al dragostei, Tie suntem datori a -Ti multumi pentru dulcele simtamant al dragostei si ocrotirii, de care ne bucuram. O, Cel ce esti izvorul tuturor bunatatilor, revarsa binecuvantarea si binefacerile Tale peste binefacatorii bisericii noastre. Apara-i de toate primejdiile ce bantuie viata muritorilor pe pamant.
Fa sa rasara asupra lor intotdeauna un soare stralucitor, ca sa risipeasca norii grijilor si ai suferintelor din viata lor. Umple inima lor de bucuria mantuirii Tale, povatuieste-le pasii pe cai drepte, in scopul mantuirii si al fericirii. Nu lasa ca apasatoarele suferinte sa le innoureze fruntea si sa le amarasca inimile.
Fa ca fiecare din zilele lor sa fie o frumoasa zi de primavara, viata lor sa se asemene unui rau limpede si lin, ce curge prin gradini inverzite si pline de flori. Iar daca ei vor fi amenintati de nenorocire, fii aparatorul si ocrotitorul lor, precum ei sunt aparatorii bisericii tale. Ori in ce parte vor merge sau se vor afla, umbreste-i cu bunatatea si apararea Ta.
Da-le, Dumnezeul meu, toate placerile si toate bucuriile iertate muritorilor care pazesc poruncile Tale si fac bine aproapelui lor. Ingerul Tau cel bun sa-i insoteasca si sa-i pazeasca in toate zilele lor si, dupa o viata lunga, plina de binefaceri si fapte bune, sa se invredniceasca a dobandi bunatatile Tale cele fara de sfarsit, gatite tuturor celor ce lucreaza virtutea. 

Dumnezeul sa binecuvinteze jertfa fratiilor voastre.Amin
